COULD HAKOMI BE SOMETHING FOR ME?
The Hakomi method could suit anyone that is interested in self development, mindfulness and building better relationships. The method is useful in a professional context and/or personal growth and self care. Check out the video below where senior trainer and legacy holder Donna Martin gives a nice and simple explanation on what the Hakomi method is really all about and what it has meant to her life. ACTIVITIES
TRAINING
We organize around three longer Hakomi trainings a year, 3-4 days. The trainings are led by an international Hakomi trainer. Our main trainer is Bettina Deuster from Germany. Going to a training will give you a deep experience of the Hakomi method. By going to trainings over time , you can also become an Hakomi practitioner.
Because of the situation with Covid-19 we have physical trainings on hold. We will open for physical trainings when the situation is more stable and predictable, and we can follow the guidelines of the Norwegian government in an easy way. In the meantime, we will host more trainings online. So click on the button to the right if you want more info.
ONLINE TRAINING
Online workshops is an important part of Hakomi Norway's identity. Even though we're not meeting in person, the tools in Zoom gives a lot of opportunities for self discovery. Like natural safety and boundaries by being in your own home, can make you explore something about yourself that you didn't know you would be able to explore. And we're usually a much more international diverse group, which creates unity in our world network (Hakomi Education Network). Some online workshops also counts as a training, so look for that in the event description.
PRACTICE GROUPS
We organize practice groups by meeting in person in Oslo and online on Zoom. The practice groups are always facilitated by advanced students (over 45 training days) in Team Hakomi Norway. These events are free of charge or you give a small donation to support Hakomi Norway's online projects.
EDUCATION
By going to our trainings you can over time be certified as a Hakomi practitioner. The first step is to have at least 45 days of training. And then you follow the steps of taking deepening skills courses and supervision by a trainer. The education of becoming a Hakomi practitioner is a very organic and personal journey, and so it might not look like a typical therapy education.
